Castleburn in the Berg. Heaven on earth.

Q: What motivates you to work hard?

   Recognition and coffee.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your career?

Every day is different. And it’s so cool to get to know authors through their books.

Q: What is your favorite book to read?

   Self-help, or a good whodunit.

Q: What makes you laugh the most?

Memes – all day every day.

Q: What did you want to be when you were small?

   A writer and psychologist.

Q: What would you sing at Karaoke night?

Who needs karaoke night when you have Spotify and headphones in the office? Right now, any Queen song.

Q: If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Braaied rump steak with my special homemade pepper sauce and golden crispy chips.

Q: Who is your favorite author?

   James Patterson, Lisa Scottoline.

Q: Have you ever had a nickname?

   Lizzy. Seriously. *facepalm*

Q: Who would you want to be stranded with on a deserted island?

Hmmm… don’t tell my hubby, right? Taylor Kinney, Stephen Amell, Dwayne Johnson, and Zac Efron.

Q: If money was no object, what would you do all day?

Start with coffee, followed by pure boxing, a session with my chiro, a nice swim, a good lunch, checking up on my business, dinner with the family, Netflix & chill, read a book, sleeeeeep.

Q: What are your hobbies?

Cooking and collecting kitchen appliances and gadgets, reading, watching TV (in case you haven’t figured that out yet) and I’m trying really hard to keep plants alive.

Q: What is the best gift you have been given?

My loved ones know that they can’t go wrong with coffee, wine, chocolates and cookies.

   Only two?

Q: How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Wow! More than I thought! About 6 pairs.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

Buy my house, pay my car off, buy homes for my mom and father-in-law, buy cars for my kids, and invest the other R40-or-so million. Live off the interest. Develop social upliftment programs. And switch to drinking champagne instead of water.

Q: How often do you buy clothes?

Whenever I find shorts or tshirts on the mark-down racks.

Q: What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

I always dreamed about living by the sea. Then I packed up my family with no jobs, no money, no nothing and moved away from the rat race. Everyone thought I was mad.
